Bishop Kevin S. Ringer I,  D.D., Th.D. was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 22, 1964 to Bishop Eugene and Mother Bronis Ringer. In 1965, his father moved the family to Dayton, Ohio where he founded Faith Temple Pentecostal Church of God. There, Kevin served on various auxiliaries-most notably as a singer and musician. He was educated in the Dayton Public School System. During this time, he was one of the areas’ top all-round athletes:  excelling track, basketball and football. Kevin attended Ellsworth Community College, in Iowa Falls, Iowa where he majored in psychology. At Ellsworth, he was a Junior College All-American. He then transferred to the University of Iowa in Iowa City Iowa on a football scholarship. At the University, he played on the 1985 and 1986 football team. He later went on to complete his BA, MA and PhD in Theology from Christ Apostolic Christian College in Des Moines, Iowa. He also received his Doctorate of Divinity in 2018 from St. Thomas Christian University in Jacksonville, Florida.

Under the leading of the Holy Spirit, in November of 1997, District Elder Ringer joined the Jesus Christ Apostolic Churches and in 1998 was led back to his hometown of Dayton, Ohio.  In the same year 1997, he has served as the Diocesan Bishop over the states of Virginia, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. While serving in this capacity, he planted seventeen churches throughout the United States in Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Virginia and Ohio. While serving in Dayton Ohio, He was the CEO and President of Project “We Care” Family Links Program serving the whole family, Hannah’s Blessing Child Development Center, Vision X Community Choir, Highway and Hedges Work Release Program, Abraham’s Bosom Senior Citizens Center, Bronis Lee Ringer Transitional House and OYOLA youth development center (Overcomers: Youth Overcoming Life’s Adversities).

In March of 2015, Dr. Ringer was selected as Pastor of Sharon Pentecostal Church of God in Cleveland Ohio, which was the home church of his parents, continuing the Holiness legacy of the late Bishop A.D. Porter and his successor the late Pastor/Mother Lottie Mae McCoy. Dr. Kevin S. Ringer’s ministry focus has been restoration, deliverance and healing. Through his ministry focus, God led him to change the name of Sharon Pentecostal to New Life Restoration Fellowship, The House of Restoration as of September 1, 2019.

Dr. Kevin S. Ringer is married to the love of his life, Lady Tonya D. Ringer who has been by his side for over 30 years. He is the father of nine and has fifteen grandchildren.
